Manhattan Luxury Real Estate Q2 2018 Report

The second quarter 2018 Manhattan market real estate report revealed data that strongly supports that we are in a buyer centric market this year. It was the lowest number of sales in the second quarter in nine years. The number of transactions fell 17% from the same quarter last year. In addition inventory rose 12% to its highest level since 2012. The new development share of the market of luxury sales fell to half of all the luxury sales. Manhattan Luxury Real Estate Report – July 10

The Luxury $4M and over Manhattan real estate market continues to enjoy its 23 week run of 20 or more signed contracts . 20 Contracts were signed last week even in spite of the long July 4th holiday. The Westside really surprised us with 8 signed contracts and tied with downtown who usually comes in first. Condos outnumbered co-ops 13 to 5. Manhattan Luxury Real Estate Report – July 3

The luxury $4M and over market is continuing its 20 plus signed contracts per week run since January. Condos outsold co-ops 13 to 4. Last week we had 22 luxury contracts signed in Manhattan. Downtown with 11 signed contracts took almost half of the market share. The Eastside came in second with 8 contracts. The average days on market were 390.
